Wanna get rid of your overdue fines?

The El Paso Public Library will erase overdue fines for anyone who signs up for the 2017 Summer Reading Club (SRC), so long as their library materials have been returned. It’s part of a Read Down Your Fines program designed to give kids, as well as adults the opportunity to come back to the library and prevent Summer learning loss. Patrons can pledge to read down their fines by registering in person at any branch or online through the Wandoo Reader database. Once registered, patrons will take their registration form, voucher, or show proof on an electronic device to the circulation desk to have overdue fines waived. Fine waivers for registering for the summer reading club may ONLY be applied to outstanding balances from the following bill types: overdues. Waivers will NOT be applied to damaged, missing barcodes, lost items, ILL holds fees, non-resident fees, or card replacement fees. Fines accrued at the Jenna Welch/Laura Bush Library are not eligible for this program.
