Westside Library - El Paso Public Library

We will be raffling off two baskets on April 15, 2017 @ 2 PM. (Must be present to win). In order to get a raffle ticket you will need to be present at the Easter Egg Hunt  event but you can increase your chances of winning. How? From now until the day of the raffle if you check out 10 items you will get an additional raffle ticket as well as take a spin on our prize wheel. You can earn (1) additional ticket per day. 

Join us for our annual Easter egg hunt in the library at the Westside Branch library. Come and enjoy light refreshments as well as have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny!!!  We will also be raffling off the two baskets we have. Must be present to win. We will be so Hoppy to see you!!

The March book club book here at the Westside library is Ruth Ware's "The woman in cabin 10."  The book club meets every third Tuesday of the month from 6-7 pm. Free refreshments provided. Please stop by for a copy and join us in discussing this month's book.

Last Saturday we celebrated Dr. Seuss birthday party here at the Westside Library. Thanks to the generous monetary donation from the Friends of the Westside libraries we were able to but pinatas, candies, and refreshments for attendees. Thanks FRIENDS!!!      

All El Paso Public Libraries will be having a fun new interactive activity after toddlers storytime(s). Toddlers make your mark is a grant funded project aimed at getting toddlers to make their mark. This includes squiggly lines, shapes, numbers, letters, etc. We will provide writing utensils and something to write on to encourage toddlers to begin writing. The hope is to get toddlers writing without any instruction either from staff or parents. We want them to write or draw whatever they want. Please stop by for our toddler story times on Tues and Wed at 11 a.m.
